6. Discussion Level Scale (6 of 7)

Take a look at the list of hearing topics below and consider the discussion level scale.
  • If there is no discussion, mark it as a 0.
  • A statement only (e.g., child is placed with grandmother) is equal to 1.
  • If there is more than a statement, then discussion is coded as a 2.
  • If the topic is not applicable (e.g., circumstances of the case mean that it would not be applicable to have that discussion) then circle, N/A. In this case, most of these would be not applicable if there was an initial hearing when the child had not been removed from the home.
